A Cult is your corner of thougTH. Not the whole feed, not everyone watching. Just you and the people who care about the same specific thing you do. A hobby, a fandom, a hometown, a shared secret. Anything.
Who runs it
Whoever starts a Cult becomes its Cult Leader. That's the person who sets the rules, decides who gets in, and can shape or shut down the Cult whenever they want. Leaders can also hand out permissions to trusted members, so they're not doing everything alone.
Getting in
Every Cult picks one of three doors when it's created.
Open Door means anyone can find it and join instantly, no questions asked.
Knock First means anyone can see the Cult exists, but you have to ask to join, and the Leader decides yes or no.
Underground means the Cult doesn't show up in search at all. The only way in is an invite link from someone already inside.
What's inside
Drops are regular posts, just for the Cult.
Whispers are anonymous confessions. No name attached, so people say the real thing.
Vote lets you run a poll and see what the Cult actually thinks.
AMA turns the Leader into the one answering questions, live.
Pic Drop is just for photos, no caption needed.
Chat is where it gets different from everything else on thougTH. It's a live group conversation with everyone in the Cult, but every message disappears after 48 hours. Nothing sits around to get dug up later. It's built to feel like a conversation, not a record.
And if you're the Leader, you get HQ. That's where you manage the door (Open Door, Knock First, Underground), moderate Whispers, check stats, set the Cult Code, and invite people in.
That's a Cult. Small enough to feel real, yours enough to say what you actually mean, and gone when it doesn't need to stick around (edited)
