thougTH isn't just for posting. Sometimes you want to get people in the same room. That's what Meet Ups is for.
Where to find it
Tap Meet Ups in your nav or tab bar. That's the hub, every upcoming meetup you can see. Hit "+ Start Meetup" to build your own.
Setting one up
Give it a title, a location, and a time. Add a theme if you want, it shows up as a little tag on the card so people know the vibe before they click in. Then pick who can see it.
Public means it's listed in Meet Ups for anyone to find.
Underground means it's off that list completely. The only way in is the link you send.
Turn on RSVPs if you want a real headcount instead of just guessing who's showing up.
RSVPing
Anyone who opens your Meetup can RSVP. First name, last name, email, and a straight yes or no on whether they're coming. That's the base form.
Build your own RSVP form
As the host, you can add extra questions. Meal preference, allergies, a plus-one option, a notes field. Pick only what you actually need, people just answer what you asked for.
Every Meetup gets a share link. For Public ones it's just a shortcut. For Underground ones it's the only door in, so who you send it to is who can find the meetup at all.
Who sees the guest list
On a Public Meetup, anyone can see who else is coming. On an Underground one, only you see the full list. Everyone else just sees a count.
Your Dashboard
As the organizer, you get a Dashboard. It shows how many are attending, breaks down meal preferences and allergies if you asked for them, counts plus-ones, and gives you a total guest number. Need the list to plan with? Export it as a CSV.
Reminders, handled
People get an email the moment they RSVP, then another reminder 24 hours before, and one more an hour before it starts. Nobody has to remember on their own.
That's Meet Ups. Set the details once, share the link, and let thougTH chase the RSVPs for you.
